Super Sedan & Formula 500 Sa Titles
Kerry posted Thursday March 19, 2009.
Borderline Speedway is set for double the action on Saturday 28th March when they host the South Australian Super Sedan Title and also the Formula 500 South Australian Title events. The return of the hard charging ground throbbing Super Sedans is sure to impress race fans with a good number of entries received. The line up looks very much like a South Australia /Victoria challenge with a couple of Tasmanians also lining up on the grid. Defending SA champion Brad Smith from Tasmania who is currently in great form will be out to take back to back victories. With 3 rounds of heats and a 30 lap championship race, fans will be treated to a top night of racing.
A high quality field of 25 plus nominations have been received for the Formula 500 State Title. Having only a few weeks to recover from the gruelling Australian championship competitors have thrown their support behind the Borderline Club and are again keen to pound the bullring circuit in a bid to claim the SA 1 crown. NOS Sprints will complete the race programme with a feature over 20 laps.
Gates open at 5.30pm with racing to begin at 6.30pm.
